StopGAP Dance Company
Critically acclaimed Portfolio Collection is a dance of stabbing passion, wicked humour and sinister loveliness.
With music ranging from Tarantino-style sounds to a Spanish lament (to a dead dog!) it is an exhilarating mixture of testosterone-fuelled male duets by Hofesh Shechter; an edgy, wild-eyed twisted power struggle by Gary Clarke, punk infested beats from Nathalie Pernette (France), moments of calm from Thomas Mettler (Switzerland), dating tips with Lucy Bennett and a quartet by Rob Tannion (Stan Won’t Dance) where hearts are broken on the quest for love. Basked in red, blue and purple, every human relationship is exposed on a stage littered in red flowers of passion.
