Tavaziva Dance Company – Heart Of Darkness
Following on from the companies touring success with their previous production Chatsva, Tavaziva Dance's six high-octane dancers return in Spring 2009 with a new repertory show created by award-winning Zimbabwean-born choreographer and composer Bawren Tavaziva, bringing his trademark fusion of African sensibility, music and dance moves within an entirely Western contemporary theatre context.
Through Autumn 2008, Tavaziva Dance has two teaching teams available for one-week education, community or outreach residencies, providing the perfect preparation and context for a Spring 2009 performance of the new show.

Tavaziva Dance explores new territories in combining the rich and diverse traditional dance forms of Africa within a contemporary Western base.
