2Faced Dance Company in association with makin projects

New work (title tbc) Spring 2011

The award winning 2faced dance will return with a brand new triple bill of work available for booking Spring 2011. Featuring work by three choreographers including artistic director Tamsin Fitzgerald. This triple bill will showcase the versatility, skill and unique style of this outstanding company.

Also available for booking is the highly charged, gritty piece Still Breathing which combines stunning athleticism, explosive abstract breaking and masculine vulnerability in a piece which explores the space we occupy.

Set to an electrifyingly intense and specially commissioned score this is an hour of unstoppable seemingly impossible movement performed by the all male company described as ‘A force to be reckoned with' **** Scotsman.

They dance like adrenalin junkies, the ride they take us on is arresting’. The Times

‘fierce masculine energy, showing off their forceful skills with the menacing presence of a hunting pack of wolves’. British Theatre Guide

‘marvelous choreography, fierce, bitter and brutal that takes the potential for total theatre seriously’. The Skinny

‘a total whammy of gasp inducing dance’  - The Herald

‘An awe inspiring experience’ – Metro

‘Top ten dance’ – The Times

‘Cool enough for kids, and smart enough for the cognoscenti, 2Faced Dance challenge the staid stereotype of modern dance’ - Fest
