The Last Cuppa!

This is my biscuit broken for you

This is my teabag infused for you

Each time you drink and dunk do so in memory of me!

Each sip stirs a memory and opens up the door to another...

Elaine Pantling of Laurielorry brings a brand new show to the stage exploring the art of making and sharing the great ‘British cuppa’.

There is comfort in a cup of solitude but there is much more pleasure in sharing a pot of tea with friends.

‘Highly recommended for fine connoisseurs of British humour.’

ROLL OUT THE BERYL

(in association with Leicester Comedy Festival and Cheltenham Comedy Festival)

Elaine Pantling brings a rich menu of theatre, pleasantry and humour to the table that celebrates the late great British Comedy Actress Beryl Reid.

A meal is prepared live on stage; a starter, main course and for afters something naughty but nice!

You will be introduced to some of Beryl’s best loved characters. Featuring Marlene from the Midlands, Monica the Naughty School Girl, Conception the Spanish Waitress and a few extras on the side with some lucky members from the audience being invited to taste the delights on Beryl’s table.

‘Gently poignant yet always witty, unlike Alan Bennett's Talking Heads, the pathos never once threatens to strip away the humour, and one wishes there were more of the delicious humour of reported dialogues with other characters.’
